It’s almost that time of year. Match Day is coming. For participants in the 2014 Main Residency Match, don’t forget to submit your rank order list by 9pm ET on February 26th. This is also the deadline to withdraw from the Match. A few tips when creating your rank order list:
- List programs in order of your true preferences
- Try to balance what you desire with how competitive you feel you are
- Never rank a place you didn’t interview
- Never rank a place you didn’t like
Important note for IMG’s:
- If you have not yet received ECFMG certification, you can still enter your rank order list.
- If NRMP receives notification from ECFMG that you meet all requirements, you will be included in the Match.
- If NRMP does not receive confirmation, you will be withdrawn from the Match shortly after the rank order list deadline.
- If NRMP receives confirmation from ECFMG prior to Match Week, you will be eligible to participate in the SOAP.
